Manonmaniam
Sundaranar University (MSU) is a dynamic institution of higher education, a
group in rural areas in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, with the spread of
the campus of 550 acres. The
university founded by the Tamil Nadu state government such as
teaching-cum-university affiliation on September 7th, 1990 to meet the needs of
the long-felt of the people of the three regions most southern state of Tamil
Nadu which is, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, and Kanyakumari. It is named after the world famous
Tamil poet, Professor P. Sundaram Pillai (1855-1897), author of the famous
verse drama Manonmaniam. It
is the poem that became “Tamil Thaai Vaalthu” a song sung an official protest
in all functions in Tamil Nadu.
